Is Having A Role Model A Cue Card?

We often look up to someone who inspires us and encourages us to move forward; a role model. But do we all have one? Of course! Growing up, we look up to someone and try to imitate them, without realising how influenced we are getting by them. Usually, an elderly person, whom we admire and dote on for many reasons. Our role model keeps changing with time. As a kid I always wanted to be like Hermoine Granger from Harry Potter, and then my ardent love for food wanted me to be like chefs at every other restaurant and today when I am credible for all my actions, my biggest inspiration is, indeed my mother.

Having a role model won’t suffice because it isn’t just about being their fan but following their work ethic as well as taking up their ideology. We get a standard to strive for as there is always room for improvement. It is perhaps our ultimate goal to be as good as our role models.

We often hear people say – “Don’t be like others.” If everyone wants to stand out, how can having a role model and being unique coexist? The answer is very simple – no two human beings can ever be equated in terms of their body and mind. The most influential woman on the globe is Oprah Winfrey and there hasn’t been anyone yet who could connect with the audience like she did, still an inspiration for millions.

Life is one’s most precious possession, don’t destroy its beauty by moulding yourself like someone else. Everything today has become goal oriented and no significance is given to the process. Take a call to get devoted to the process and explore your full potential. What if a mango tree wanted to be like a coconut tree? It would chop off all its branches and become one awful tree. It is certainly possible that you might lose yourself walking on the path set by someone else- this isn’t how you conduct life. Think of what you can create instead of what you would get, because what matters in the end is the experience and not what you possess.

Everyone has a role model. In fact, global achiever Mark Zuckerberg once said that his role model is Steve Jobs. It is you who has to decide whether to blindly follow them or wisely choose their traits, to see how it is possible to overcome or simply turn a shortcoming into a strength and not let flaws hold us back from being our best selves. In the process of seeking the best version of ourselves, we might discover that we are the role models we have been seeking all this time. It is no less to say that everybody is a potential role model, so keep hustling!

Hi! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?
I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.
I would be awesome if you could point me in the
    direction of a good platform.

Hi! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with
hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many
months of hard work due to no data backup.
Do you have any methods to stop hackers?

Hello fantastic website! Does running a blog similar to this take a massive
amount work? I have virtually no knowledge of computer programming however I was hoping to start my own blog in the
near future. Anyway, should you have any recommendations or tips for new
blog owners please share. I know this is off subject but I just needed
    to ask. Many thanks!

Hi! Quick question that’s totally off topic.
Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My weblog looks weird
when viewing from my iphone. I’m trying to
find a theme or plugin that might be able to correct this problem.
If you have any recommendations, please share.

    Appreciate it!
