In December 2019, I created my Instagram account, and it’s been a long journey since then.
Growing up in Bangalore, I had fallen in love with its starry skies, samosas, delicacies, and celebrating the festivals of Diwali and Holi with loved ones. Even our frustrated bus driver yelling at us every day to not be late strangely delighted me. It took just one day for all of that to change.
The word ‘wrong’ has a certain sense of foreboding associated with it. When you find yourself in a ‘wrong’ situation, your hands get clammy, your heart feels like it is sinking and there is this tiny little voice that keeps telling you ‘no’. It is just the way human beings are wired, their bodies starting to react the moment they do something that does not align with their idea of morality.
Books are immortal; don’t get me wrong, censorship and burning copies were enough to drive certain books to extinction. When one begins to think of technology, the one thing that comes to mind is the accessibility of everything on our fingertips. One click and ten thousand things to scroll down brings in a lot of options to think about and choose from. For example, I enjoy baking and am always on the lookout for new recipes and a google search provides me with thousands of mug cake recipes to choose from. Hence, it is important to know and examine the relationship that I share with technology.

The concept of bravery in itself amuses me as a person. If you ask me why it would definitely be the element of ambiguity. What may be bravery for me as a person may be something completely regular for you. The psychology student within me screams of cultural distinctions whenever it comes to dealing with […]
It was 2015 and I had just graduated from the 8th standard. Since there weren’t any good schools near our township, my mom and dad decided to send me to a boarding school. Not that they didn’t ask me or I didn’t want to go, but yes, I had never imagined myself being away from […]
